The mutant-polymorphic-spirit-child known only as RAMZi left its home of the deep forests and chose PhoebÃ© Guillemot as their human host many moons past, tasking itself with the protection of wildlife, the decimation of its enemies and the conquest of new lands. RAMZi makes itself known to our world as a tropical music gradually emerging, integrating elements from Caribbean music, jazz, dub, balearic and video game music, bringing to Jazz Fusion a second wind and to Fourth World music a Fifth World sound. Stubborn and protective, RAMZi is also a wild child warrior who enjoys squeezing birds and hanging out with their fluffy animal companions.
PhoebÃ© just released an EP on the label Mood Hut, Phobiza â€˜Noiteâ€™ vol. 2 following the first volume LP on Total Stasis. She is planning to release next spring on the label 12th Isle from Glasgow and will be touring in Europe for few months this year in between art residencies around the Mediterranean sea

Japanese saxophone transgressor Akira Sakata meets with his long-time collaborator and Fender Rhodes virtuoso Giovanni Di Domenico, Portuguese guitarist Manuel Mota, and drummer Mathieu Calleja for a session recorded at Les Ateliers Claus in Brussels. Named after the Jomon period of the Japanese prehistory -- when Japan was inhabited by a hunter-gatherer culture rich in tools, clay pottery, and jewelry made from bone and stone -- the record features three tracks: "Jomon" (ç¸„æ–‡), "Kaen" (ç«ç„”), and "Dogu" (åœŸå¶). The Dogu (literally: "clay figures") were small humanoid and animal figurines made during the Jomon period for religious purpose: it may have been believed that illnesses could be transferred into the Dogu, which was then destroyed, clearing the illness, or any other misfortune. The record itself is a musical healing ritual invoking a powerful demon with Sakata's throat singing, unleashing then slowly hypnotizing it in the second half of the album, putting it back into its vault before it's too late.
