NL / GAVIN GLOVER is een in Brussel residerende Brit die zijn naam maakte bij het collectief FaultyOptic. Donkere, geanimeerde werelden waarin hij met allerlei bizarre poppen hoogst eigenzinnige verhalen laat plaatsvinden. Denk aan de lugubure stop-motion van de Tsjech Jan Švankmajer, de geschifte visie van David Lynch of de films van de broeders Quay. Muzikaal wordt hij bijgestaan Emmanuel Louis   •••   Om de residentie van Gavin Glover af te sluiten, nodigde hij Eve Libertine - anarchist/zangeres bij het mythische Crass - en Mark Webber uit. Samen hebben ze een audiovisuele compositie gemaakt bij het boek “LISTEN, LITTLE MAN” van Dr. Wilhelm Reich. FR / GAVIN GLOVER, écossais vivant à Bruxelles, se dit à la fois réalisateur, acteur, marionettiste et artisan. Ses marionettes, comme sorties d'un film d'animation de Jan Svankmajer ou d'une photo de Witkin, sont effet le produit direct de son imagination, peuplée d'un monde inquiétant et intriguant, auquel il donne vie jusqu'à faire oublier les frontiéres entre réel et fiction. La musique de Gavin sera composé par Emmanuel Louis   •••   Pour clore la résidence, Eve Libertine, membre des mythiques Crass, et Mark Webber, compositeur electronique, dévoileront leur projet LISTEN, LITTLE MAN! Basé sur les travaux du Dr Whillelm Reich, cette performance semi-improvisée associe projection de partitions et signaux sonores

EN / GAVIN GLOVER known for his work with FaultyOptic is a Scotsman living in brussels. Dark, sinister stories are created with animated puppets and frightening freak dolls. The aesthetics of Glover’s art might remind you of the spooky stop-motion by Czechish artist Jan Švankmajer, the bizarre David Lynch imagery or the movies by the Brothers Quay.
