BILL ORCUTT first became widely known as guitarist for Miami noise-rock trio Harry Pussy. Still highly influential despite having dissolved in 1997, Harry Pussy went their separate ways and Orcutt seemed to disappear for a while. Then in 2009, an album appeared entitled 'A New Way To Pay Old Debts', a glorious collection of apparently stream-of-consciousness guitar playing with sporadic and involuntary vocalisations. Notes are warped and strangled, rhythms bruised and battered, all resulting in a sound at the outer edges of the Americana family tree… Deconstructed noise blues for the 21st century.

Having toured with like minded artists such as Steve Gunn, Tetuzi Akiyama and Ignatz, as well as collaborations with Koen Holtkamp (Mountains), Meg Baird and Nate Wooley, this time he will be playing in duo with Don Bruno (organ/guitar) presenting PARANOID CAT: a bit of 60’s folk, while permeating an electrical psychedelic sound, yet giving off a dash of hillbilly twang…
