The trio TREMOR researches folklore traditions and combines these rhythms and sounds across genre borders, fitting component parts of varying tradition together in eloquent symmetry. Their sound is equal parts electronic music, folklore and native drum and owes as much to anthropology as it does to popular music, breaking sound barriers across South America. MATI ZUNDEL is the real life persona behind Lagartijeando and was raised on rhythms of the Argentinian backwoods. He dips his dance tracks in country folk gold where chacareras, huaynos, and vidalas two step with jungle electronica alongside a backdrop of charango guitar loops and shamanic chants. El G is the dj monniker of Grant C. Dull, the main gringo who co-founded the ZZK label in 2008 and runs the bilingual cultural website WhatsUpBuenosAires and Zizek Club. Le label ZZK est un label de la maison Belgique devant son nom aux nuits endiablées du Zizek club à Buenos Aires. Exploration de sons 'mondiaux' et urbains avec une touche électronique. L'idée principale consiste à provoquer la rencontre des continents, des idées. Fusion du neuf et du vieux. Maximilisation technologique de manière à trainer la musique latino américaine vers le 21ième siècle le tout ponctué par d'énormes basses. Une véritable étude musicologique.
TREMOR combine sons et rythmes n'hésitant pas à traverser les genres. Explorant des particularités régionales Tremor pose des ponts entre les générations. Part égale est faite à l'électronique digitale et aux drums d'origine.
EL G est un dj mèlant cumbia digitale, electro-reggaeton, musique des Andes. Sur scène il lui arrive d'épicer ses prestations ajoutant des percussions live ou en appelant des amis à le rejoindre.
MATI 'LAGARTIJEANDO' ZUNDEL produit des morceaux dance plongeant dans la country et ou le folk. Chants shamaniques et loops de guitare forment la colonne vertébrale avec un pied dans le two step, la jungle et l'électronica.
