NL / De Brusselse ondergrondrevelatie van onze hiphop scene: L.E.G. is een gemuteerd hiphop trio gebaseerd op bizarre ritmes, donkere klanktapijten en het  wild spuwen van de ene maatschappijkritische tekst na de andere. Met een link naar brussels fieldrecording/electronica collectief martiensgohome.

KALLABRIS ofte Michael Anacker maakt sinds 1986 elektro-akoestische kamermuziek, waarbij kamer echt ook eens kamer mag betekenen: Kallabris werkt met goedkope thuiscomputers, simpele dictafoontjes en antwoord-appparaten. Doordeweekse huishoudelijke opnametoestellen die zijn muziek zowel begrenzen als bevrijden.

ESTHER VENROOY is een Nederlandse, gespecialiseerd in audiokunst. Geschoold in saxofoon en choreografie, raakte haar muziek meer en meer op het digitale pad, waarbij ze haar muziek opvatte als een onafhankelijke stroom van expressie. Tot op heden werkte ze voor IPEM, het institute for psychoacoustics and electronic music in Gent.

AGATHE MAX studeerde viool aan het Conservatoire National Bourgoin, Frankrijk. Na 10 jaar klassieke stukken verwerkt te hebben, raakte ze meer en meer verstrikt in het web der improvisatie, textuur en allerlei onconventionele manieren om haar instrument te bespelen. Al deze elementen bracht ze samen op haar fantastische debuutplaat This Silver String. YOKO HIGASHI maakt verstrooide muziek - na een eerste indruk dan toch - als je wat beter luistert merk je dat de melodieën behendig jongleren met Yoko’s elektronische ritmes en gevoel voor dynamiek. Yoko lijkt haast te musiceren met elektriciteit, wanneer haar elektronica zich rondom haar poëtische Japanse klanken wikkelt.

FR / Revelation de l'année (2010) de la scène hip-hop en Belgique. L.E.G. est un groupe de Bruxelles qui auto-produit son premier album. Breakbeats low-tempo mutants bien ficelés portant le flow sombre et anxieux d'un verbe se faisant l'écho lointain et sourd des réalités de nos sociétés modernes industrielles et capitalistes.

KALLABRIS is the project of Michael Anacker. Active since 1986, its work has been described as ‘electro-acoustic chamber music’ — a description which should be taken literally. Anacker’s main interest is a reflection on the electro-mechanical conditions of sound recording presented in everyday recording devices such as cheap home computers, dictaphones and answering machines. Thus, he is not interested in the limits of musical styles but in the limitations of sound (re)production.

ESTHER VENROOY (1974, Rosmalen, The Netherlands) is a composer working in the field of audio art. After completing studies in classical saxophone, she attended the European Dance Development Center in Arnhem as a composer-in-residence where she began employing electronic and digital techniques in compositions for choreography and stage performance. Gradually, her music evolved into an independent means of expression and she continued her work at the IPEM (Institute for Psycho-acoustics and Electronic Music) in Ghent, Belgium, where she still resides. Around this time she began utilising film editing paradigms as a foundation for her compositional method

AGATHE MAX débute le violon au conservatoire national de Bourgoin-Jallieu, en France. Après dix ans de formation classique, elle s'intéresse à la musique improvisée et commence à s'approprier toute une gamme de textures sonores, à la recherche d'un jeu non conventionnel. Le label Table of the Elements sort son premier album, This silver String , en octobre 2008. Son approche expérimentale l'amène aujourd'hui à travailler sur des séquences distordues, atmosphériques, des rythmes cassés...des dissonances. Ses performances, le plus souvent improvisées, sont toujours l’occasion de s’aventurer hors des sentiers battus.  YOKO HIGASHI propose une musique semblant décousue, mais où les mélodies, cependant, jonglent habilement sur un fond de rythmique électronique, dynamique, parfois psychédélique. L’électricité, qu’elle semble tenir dans ses mains comme un vieux néon accompagne ses paroles, en japonais, qui explorent une profusion d’idées et d’improvisations comme autant de poèmes conduits par une vision originale.
