Whenever members of the still highly prolific German Krautrock legend FAUST send out an invitation, it’s about blowing up structures and musical boundaries. It’s about expanding music into the domain of the gesamtkunstwerk. They are unselfconsciously avant-garde using drones, wrestling tones and propelling rhythms and an astounding noise. As a founding member noted in 1973, "The idea was not to copy anything going on in the Anglo-Saxon rock scene – and it worked." Faust's influence continues to reverberate across the generations (Aphex Twin, Sonic Youth, The Fall, Einstürzende Neubauten, Throbbing Gristle and even The Beastie Boys ). 2011 is the 40th anniversary of the band's formation and they continue to perform around the world, resisting easy categorization and demonstrating the same curiosity and cacophony that so entranced audiences upon their debut. Jean-Herve Peron and Zappi W. Diermaier, founders and current members of this experimental underground rock band are coming with friends. They aren't shy about including explosives and tools from the shed in their music, so beware!

QUATTROPHAGE are Olivier Hüe, Matthieu Safatly and Nicolas Lelièvre.This trio will take you along on an eventful journey through imaginary lanscapes built from their rich and varied supply of sounds and rhythms. Each of them is very active in the current free improv scene (they already shared experiences with Ghédalia Tazartès, Seijiro Murayama, Carlos Zingaro, Tomoko Sauvage, the belgian band Present, Jim Denley, Audrey Chen, Jean-Jacques Duerinckx...) but the music they play together is unique. ‘A kind of Cinema of Sounds’ is how they describe themselves. They released several albums of which their debut was released by the mythical Sordide Sentimental. Quattrophage will be accompanied by the visuals of Paul Demare (membre of Purpose).
