Brute punk-rock force and bad-trip psychedelia fuse together to brilliant effect, with a searing series of songs that refuse to relent even as they encroach on the five-minute mark.

The Julie MittensS are a brainy, hermetic experimental/post-rock trio comprised of Aart-Jan Schankenbos, Michel van Dam and Leo Fabriek. Often operating without a label, the trio built a devoted, nigh on cultish, fanbase. This is abrasive but smart chaos, that mixes just enough humor into their assault to make you smile while you question whether chaos is the true fact of the world.
