Les Ateliers Claus are are proud and happy to give SUB ROSA ( a famous long time Brussels label) their first carte blanche. Sub Rosa are presenting WINTER FAMILY (a duo from Jerusalem and Paris), JULIE NORMAL (original pieces for Ondes Martenot), Rob(u)rang (performing the cuckoo dance to conjure the evil spirits), Guy-Marc Hinant (owner of Sub Rosa) who will play as a dj excerpts of the Anthologies of Noise and Electronic Music
WINTER FAMILY
WINTER FAMILY is a duo from Jerusalem and Paris. Ruth Rosenthal & Xavier Klaine met in Jaffa on 2004 and live and work together since. Xavier develops layers of folk drones with his philicorda, harmoniums, pipe organs, celesta and a piano, while Ruth Rosenthal chants her poems and plays the drums into a mystic universe filled with political sadness and dark romanticism. Together they might depress you seriously. Their debut album was out on 2007 at Subrosa was followed by a LP version on 2008 at Marienbad. And was well received by critics.
JULIE NORMAL Julie Pierrejean has studied les ondes at Strasbourg Conservatory (class of Christine Ott and Thomas Bloch), works with Accident Labor, 245 Volt and Draïek, have played with Phil Minton, Rodolphe Burger, Winter Family ...
Tonight, she will play original pieces for Ondes Martenot.

ROB(U)RANG Gabriel Séverin, behind the MS-20 bass and the mechanical jerks, will be accompanied by a percussionist - Alain Lefebvre - and a flutist - Laurène Laroche - to perform the cuckoo dance (to conjure the evil spirits).
