The idea of Scout - born Emma Louise - Niblett performing at Les Ateliers Claus is something we have been entertaining for a very long time. Her stark, sparse sound combined with that wicked british sense of humor always makes for memorable shows. She’s like the quiet little girl no one barely notices, until a twisted outburst of rage and energy totally captivates everyone who's in the room. You can’t really tell wether she’s genuinely possessed or just messing around - which is a good thing in our book. Clearly influenced by Kurt Cobain, grunge and Steve Albini she might remind you of PJ Harvey or Cat Power.. but so much more powerful. Just watch some videos on youtube and you’ll know what we’re talking about, or, even better: ask someone who saw her perform.

Abby Portner is the drummer/vocalist for New York no-wavers Rings (formerly First Nation), sister of Animal Collective’s founding member David Portner aka Avey Tare, and solely responsible for the majority of Paw Tracks beautifully enchanting album cover illustrations. Drawlings is her solo project. Haunted soundtracks to horror movies for children.
