Again the Wolves: an unusual sounding map.

Act II of " Wolves Stories".
A wolf is traditionally associated with women. Loving & protective of her children, but a fierce attacker when necessary. We invite you to a portrait of women, mainly through music, improvisations, projections and free form experiments.

Again the Wolves :

Ann Eysermans [Belgium, 1980] is a performer, improviser [double bass and harp] and composer. She is both connected to Champ d'Action as well as working on her own auditory and visual projects.
She obtained her Master's degree 'Musical Notation and Composition' and 'Double Bass, Jazz' at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

Pak Yan Lau studied piano in Belgium and Portugal. Current interests go to free improvisation and sound/noise related music. A love for curious sounding objects, an obsession for toys and a fetish for toypiano’s. She makes music for dance-theatre productions (‘Gadgetland’ with Lazara Rosell Albear, R.U.T.H. from Marjolein Elsink), shadow theatre (Dala Dala Company), documentary (‘News From Nowhere’ by Christoph Van Collie) and children theatre Tweelicht & Zoon (production ‘SAAI’).
Performed in Japan and Europe and plays/played with musicians such as Paolo Angeli, Lynn Cassiers, João Lobo, Nico Roig, Eric Thielemans, Chris Corsano, Yuko Oshima, Mathieu Calleja, Lazara Rosell Albear, Mathieu Ha, Tatsuhisa Yamamoto, Norberto Lobo, Daysuke Takaoka, Gregoire Tirtiaux, Audrey Lauro, Mori-Shige, Giovanni Di Domenico, Manja Ristic and many more.

Lazara Rosell Albear is a Cuban artist residing in Ghent, Belgium since 1992. She is a dancer – choreographer, filmmaker and drummer. She did multimedia projects with Victoria; Het Muziek Lod, L'Espace Senghor and Les Ballets C. de la B. She has worked with Alain Platel, Koen Augustijnen, Xavier Lukomsky...

Mia Zabelka, composer, electric violinist and vocalist from Vienna, She has developed a unique language based on the de- and reconstruction of the violin's sonic possibilities, expanding the instrument using live electronic effects and innovative performance techniques. The violin, voice and her own body transform into sound bodies which are at once organic and primal, screaming, lyrical, composed and explosive...

Yuko Oshima listened to J-Pop and Metal music until the age of 18, she then started playing drums as an autodidact. She discovered Free-Noise-Rock music with one of her friends few years after, joined an experimental free noise rock group “ Gakusei Jikken Shitsu” which she collaborated with Buto/ contemporary dancers and a theater company. In 2000, she moved to France and studied improvisation and contemporary music in the school of  “percussions de Strasbourg” and also in the conservatoire of Strasbourg where she met musicians with whom she has played in jazz/improvised music groups. In 2005, she started her solo work “Kéfu-Kéfu” to play an electro-acoustic music with drums, sampler and her voice and in 2011 the 1st album was released from the label “Creative Sources”. While she has played in a dense and frenetic hi-speed free boogie woogie improvisation music duo « Donkey Monkey » with a French pianist Eve Risser since 2005, has been a drummer of French-Japanese group « Gunkanjima » founded by a French guitarist, Gilles Laval. Musicians with whom she had played to quote some: Ryoko Ono, Hugues Vincent, Frantz Loriot, Giovanni Di Domenico, Daysuke Takaoka, Pak Yan Lau, Gianni Gebbia, Eiko Ishibashi, Yuki Saga, Marcos Fernandos, Keiko Higuchi, Anthony Carcone, Jacques Foschia, DFF, Jean-Jacques Birgé, David Stackenas, Jean-Luc Capozzo, etc, and also with poets like Gaston Jung, Paul Varlet, and for documentary films of Damien Fritsch like “Emile Gallé”, “les enracinés”, “l’attente”.

Stine Janvin Motland is a Norwegian singer and composer working with extended voice technique primarily in improvised and experimental music, as well as with theatre and performance. She performes solo and collaborates with musicians and composers such as Lasse Marhaug, Nils Henrik Asheim, Frode Gjerstad, Andrea Neumann, Øyvind Torvund, Mats Gustafsson, Maja Ratkje and Ståle Liavik Solberg.

Audrey Lauro : First initiations in Jazz and then Contemporary music following Musical Composition studies and Slavic Philology Master Audrey Lauro growed during ten of years on the experimental belgian music scenes as an alto sax player.
First CD in 2008 on the Brussels' s label by-records "Mrs Okkido featuring Pierre Vervloesem before she decides to focus mostly on the free improvised music working deeply the langage of the instrument from the phrase to sound event through all kinds of atoms and particles.
