Ferdinand Lezaire (drums) is a musician who recharges his batteries by listening to albums every day, going to tons of concerts and playing almost exclusively improvised music.

‘He is one of the most promising jazz musicians of the younger generation, and responds directly to the music’

he's still asking a lot of questions without wanting to find the answers. He's fresh fish.

In recent years, he has played at the Ancienne Belgique with Farida Amadou and Moor Mother, at the Summer Bummer festival at the Trix with Ornella Noulet, hugged Han Bennink and Francisco Mela, improvised in a painting workshop held by Luk Lambrechts, played much alone , too much , played sessions with Cole Schmidt, with Joachim Badenhorst, and once at Ateliers Claus - organized by Jef Lambrecht (a programmer full of surprises) and played with his friend Daniel Dariel. He has taken online classes with Susie Ibarra, discussed gestures with her and is trying to evolve with her.

let's welcome him for a second tournée de musique improvisée
