In residence: pak yan lau : (t)ears – installatie – instrument

in coproduction with musica impulscentre and glazen huis, this residency is to further develop and finalize (t)ears.
(t)ears is at the same time an audiovisual installation + a playable instrument in the format of a glass contained acousmonium, about human emotions and the fluidity of water, against the rigidity of glass. 12 hand blown glass tears are hanged on a structure with real time water drops creating a polyrhytmic backdrop, against 8 channels of pre-recorded sounds.
